I agree, I’d love to have an R2T. Just look at what R2 is compared to R1S. Barely smaller with less options (ex. air suspension). It would open up a lot of room for them in an area where trucks are very expensive. The $45k market for trucks would be huge for Rivian.
How is your efficiency with the LFP dual motor on a daily basis (kw/h)? Curious about the 270 mi LFP being enough (even in winter if cold weather drops the range 20%).
Thanks for the thread. Now I'm even more curious, is the LFP battery not recommended for towing? Does anyone have an LFP and tow? From the videos, I know @OutofSpecKyle has the large pack.
So the owners manual details how to do a tire rotation DIY? I know there's a lot of DIY stuff in the Tesla owners manual, was hoping Rivian had the same thing but haven't seen it on their website yet.
Thanks for posting this! We live in Yorktown, VA and have been looking at getting a R1T. We were curious about where to get tires rotated without driving to the Richmond, VA service center.
It really did! A question for those of us that would be everyday drivers (not much off roading, but occasionally do some towing (Uhaul or utility trailer)). What would be the recommended setup? I'm thinking dual motor but am unsure what battery pack (LFP vs Large).
OP thanks for the very thorough review. Helps a lot for those of us looking at an R1T. My wife and I are considering one for our first EV (she has an R2 reservation).
Ah okay, thanks for the info. I'm looking at a R1T and don't tow very often and usually go short distances when I do. Considering the LFP battery vs the large pack.
