Tesla v4 Chargers in Tacoma WA

Hi - next to the REI in Tacoma Washington I got to see the new V4 chargers for the first time. They have not been activated yet but I am super surprised that there’s a new installation here simply because this area has a lot of existing super chargers in the area all within a mile of one another. The V4s are cool; they defiantly have the long cables to reach non-Tesla EVs. But since the chargers are not active and locked; I could not test the reach. Granted I will miss the look of the V2/V3 superchargers - these are an awesome update.

They just installed some here at a Wawa in Yorktown, Virginia too. Looks pretty cool.

So here's the real question. Is it ACTUALLY a v4? Or is it a V4 dispenser hooked up to V3 chargers, as they've done a few times before

I don't think any true V4 site has been built anywhere in the US yet, but I haven't been paying close attention.

Best looking item in that photo is the color of the truck.

There’s a good story on those brights - I orders them after from Rivian after market. I wanted the standard and they put on the wrong wheels. I decided to keep them and there are very few R1Ts with brights. They grew on me.
