Sorry haven't logged on in a bit, but no the service appointment it did not help. Extra frustrating because the loaner I had while mine was in service was whisper quiet.
Had my early build R1S in for a 3rd attempt at correcting the wind noise from the triangle windows. Fortunate to have a loaner R1S that was a May build and the difference was incredible. Unfortunately the 3rd attempt did nothing to improve the situation and might have made things a little bit...
Do you know if that piece can be swapped with tinted windows? Window tint and “in spec” were the 2 excuses I got when I asked to get the wind noise fixed.
Summed up my experience as well although I’m on the 22 Sports. I had an alignment done the first month of ownership and its improved since then but it still doesn’t feel right to me. My wife has a current gen Escalade and it doesn’t have this same issue. Rules out size of tire and vehicle.
I've also used Tesla's AP and E(enhanced)AP extensively. EAP with the auto lane change on the highway was super helpful. I currently have a vehicle with GM's supercruise and just used it during a 400 mile roadtrip. Some of the same limitations as Driver + with mapped highways only, but I have...
Agree for my R1S. Took her out for a 25% of battery spin on and off highway. Soaks up the bumps really well in all purpose mode and tracks much smoother.
FWIW you can fold the 3rd row headrests forward. Detailer did it when they were cleaning it and I like the added vision without having to fold the 3rd row down.
I owns the R1S and have test driven an IX50. I think the review is fair, Rivian is the one to be seen in, IX is the one to drive. I do love driving my Rivian, especially at non-highway speeds, but hoping what the previous posters have shared about the upcoming software updates to the...
My R1S has significant wind noise at speeds above 50 mph, but I have mobile service coming to look at it tomorrow. I haven't driven the lightening but I did test drive the BMW IX50 which was incredibly quiet, if you can get past the looks.
helpful to hear others having this issue. my wheel was off center to the left on delivery. alignment has corrected most of the issue but I still feel like it never tracks straight and pulls either direction. I have to keep my hands firmly on the wheel and constantly adjust.
I enjoy these drag race vids, but would also like a run without a launch mode or wtf mode or whatever engaged. I like how CarWow will do some rolling runs starting from a say 50mph and punching it.
