I turn my Gear Guard off at home. I was working in my garage, so it's possible it was constantly trying to connect, but to "Brick!" at home in the garage is just plain $h!tty...

I would expect a warning of some kind, but I would never expect an issue with the 12v batteries after only 15 months.

I have the same issue since the last update. Not sure what would have changed that would cause this to happen. I also have over 60,000 miles on my '22 R1S so it is getting older. I can tell you the noise that I hear and I think the others are experiencing is not the tires rubbing or anything...

This is not a service center issue. This is 100% a software issue for what seems to be Gen 1 vehicles only. Not sure if the update in May had something that is causing a memory issue or if Gen 2 Riv's have a better CPU, but this was not an issue before the May update. You'd hope the engineers...

I agree that it seems to happen most often during rush hour or when you have Nav and a turn signal on or when there is a lot of traffic. Almost seems like there's not enough memory or CPU power to do everything that is being asked of the Rivian. I'm not sure when it started, but it had to be at...

Same exact issue! I posted about it the other day. Reboot helps for a while and then it happens again. Tried both quick reboot with steering wheel buttons and then tried a full reboot with the hazard light and steering wheel. Doesn't matter. it will do it again until we get a software patch.

I have left my Rivian at the airport in the winter for over a week and only lost 1-2% This was excessive. Even if you say it's my fault the lack of support or a solution for a vehicle that is out of charge other than towing to a service center is feeble.
