R1T does NOT have that for any of the cameras. It's only on R1S, and only on the rear camera I think....

It's competitive on the combined rating, which is what all the manufacturers use in their advertising and on their websites.

That's why it says EPA estimated..... which is Rivian running thru the EPA testing on their own, or having done some modeling that leads them to believe it will land there. Yes, it's possible it may go up, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I'm not a professional sound engineer, but a humble composer. I've never understood the desire for lots of bass in people's cars (or any sound system). Yeah, I want to hear the low notes, but not at the expense of the rest of the soundscape. Maybe that's just me?

I could have sworn that an R2T was something that RJ teased recently when talking about the Georgia factory...

If that's the case, I'm disappointed in Tom @ State of Charge. He seemed to be one that wouldn't stoop to that level, but may have done so....

That would make sense, as they were supposedly training SC techs on R2 delivery and service back in May and a little before (I think) - but things change when a product is introduced to the masses.

Is there an actual, released by Ford rendering? The thumbnail on the State of Charge video looks like a bunch of crap smooshed together by either funky photoshop or "AI". Granted, the image there could be a rendering, since Ford uses some....... funky design elements now and again.

Plus the emblems on the rear being wrong, lack of charge port on the rear, the fact that 90% of that bucket is gonna land on the roof.....

Something similar for me - R1T built in June 2023, picked up in Feb. 2024. No major issues (other than a rattle in the dash that only pops up during the summer....)

That "AI" photo is causing me physical pain with the number of things wrong with it...

Yeah, it would be nice to see Rivian sell a similar kit - and with a TT-30 pigtail in it! It would fit into the Rivian ethos for sure.
