How did you get it to show the alternate routes? Did you tap on the destination like

@VandalSibs recommended? Has anything changed in regards to seeing alternate routes during the drive?

That image looks like it is during the planning, not driving, phase. Alternate routes are automatically displayed when searching for a destination.

Thanks. I was able to see alternate routes during the planning, like you mentioned. When I tried it the day before I didn't see any alternate routes. The difference between my 2 attempts was my SOC and traffic. Since I'm new to Rivian and was beyond frustrated with my EV6 nav, I noticed how easy it is to change the route however I want with Rivian, so very happy about that.

Actually now playing with it a little more, how do you change the route? I see how to chose a charger and add it to the route and this will change it. But what if I just want to take a different route, do I have to pick a place (charger or non charger) on the route I want to take and make it a waypoint? Or do I just drive the route I want to take and it will update as I drive?

Just with any other navigation system, if you deviate from the route it will eventually re-route based on where you are driving - either trying to get you back to the established route, or a new route that involves whatever road you've decided to go to.

If you want to force it, you could add any random destination that is along the route you want to take and see what new routing the vehicle comes up with. That being said, if you know where you are going and are comfortable driving it (and know where chargers are, etc)...... just drive.

Just my thoughts, though.

Thank you sir, that is what I was thinking but wanted to see there was another option I was missing. Taking my first trip this weekend, MD to Pittsburgh so I'll learn on the fly.
