Backwoods Driving - Maps outside cell coverage

You all realize your phone can download maps, right? And you do realize you can still navigate with your phone even without CarPlay/AA, right?

You guys invent problems where there are none.

So, you have to use a phone to do this when you just spent 60 grand or a lot more for R1. This is ridiculous. Come on Rivian. Just add an inexpensive satellite antenna in the vehicle. So many replies to use a phone or other devices for various services or hardware that should be included in the vehicle.
