Is there a way set home location in Maps to coordinates rather that address? My charger is in a remote garage 1500 ft from the home address location.

Yes. I believe you just put in the geo coordinates in the search of maps screen and search (like you are planning a trip). Then name location as home. I have not tried it ... but I believe all the navigation systems are actually converting addresses to coordinates anyhow. Kind of like URLs are in words, but behind each url is an IP address.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will try resetting the coordinates of my garage as Home and see if that works.

You just drive the car to the charger location and tell it that location is "home". Of course, that will screw up the locking and unlocking at your actual home location. I have two houses and whenever I go from one to the other I have to change the "home" location so the car does not continuously lock and unlock depending on how close I am to it.

OK, so when I select my remote garage location as "home" it turns into Lat/Long coordinates. But then almost immediately chooses my neighbors address, which is much closer to my remote garage than my main house. So that not perfect, but it doesn't really matter. When I'm in my remote garage, it does think I'm "home". However, when I set the option to leave the R1t unlocked at "home", the system still locks the truck when I walk away? Has anyone used the "leave the r1t unlocked at home" feature successfully? if so, what am I doing wrong?
