This is quite adventurous and luring for sure, and I’d be concerned that Rivian might flag something at the last minute if they update their system, which could happen in the future. Rivian has been known to lag behind on certain things, and this would be a major setback if they did this to you...
I’ve been observing these wrecked Rivian auction vehicles for quite some time now. It’s been almost a year since I began researching this. Fortunately I came across a contact of mine in Rivian who informed me that Rivian is now looking at all Copart and IAAI vehicles. They’re flagging the VINs...
For some reason the app is no longer working on my Apple Watch. I am running 18 beta dev IOS. When tapping on icon on my watch it no longer loads and when I go to Test Flight it shows “build removed”. When I go to the App Store, it shows it’s been purchased, but it does not let me download...
For anyone that wants just a solid black smooth center cap or wants to add their own custom decal onto it, then this is the 3D printable file for you: https://www.printables.com/model/1077583-rivian-atomic-wheel-center-hub
Tap it in with a rubber mallet and you are good to go. Printed this...
Car Wash mode bug fix for front park assist camera. Definitely a small issue but I would say higher priority over something like an owl hoot(which is cool):: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/car-wash-mode-issue-with-park-assist-from-last-update.35860/
I would label this as a bit unsafe
Update on the issue with the front park assist camera. I tried turning the Car Wash mode “On” before approaching the pull-in point for the automatic car wash. If I have the park assist front camera “On,” it still appears over the “Shift to Neutral” screen.
I can “X” it out, but the problem is...
So to confirm you are saying you put Car Wash mode “on” once you arrive to the car wash location, and do the neutral part once on the conveyor and you don’t have the park assist front cam does not come on to interrupt with the need to "X" out?
That’s a very valid point! I’d be perfectly fine with a double confirmation if there’s a need for it. That’s an unnecessary complication. Unlike most cars, the Rivian can enter Drive mode on the way out without applying the brakes. So, why not do the same when you’re coming in? I hope the...
I completely agree; this seems like the best solution. Navigating onto the conveyor belt, activating Car Wash mode, and shifting into Neutral is already a delicate process. Plus, I often have to disregard the attendant directing me to stop too soon—usually with the rear wheels barely on the belt...
Does anyone else encounter issues with the new Automatic Front Camera in Park Assistant interfering with Car Wash mode?
When I pull up to the loading track for the automatic car wash and attempt to initiate Car Wash Mode, the vehicle detects the approaching brushes and activates the park assist...
I just went through exactly what you did and posted this up here a few minutes ago so you can see what worked. It took be a couple days of back and forth calculation in an AI GPT that I trained specifically for calculating Rivian tire and wheel swaps.
This should help...
I just went from the stock factory 21" Pirellis Scorpion 275/55R21 to Michelin Defender LTX Platinum 285/65R20 instead of the smaller Platinum 275/60R20 that most are going with. This gave a much beefier muscular look and an even softer ride.
Along with the Atomic Wheels Satin Black AWZZ...

Listen to this podcast about it(for clues?) ;)
I haven't tested its capacity with large items yet, but I'm optimistic. Given my measurements, I believe it can accommodate pinball machines on a dolly. I've started utilizing the entire cargo space in the tailgate now, which I never did before. The Wakeshield has given my R1T a new lease on...
Remember my truck has had the following fixes with all updated parts:
1. Cast Gen 2 Sub Frame
2. Jounce Lines
3. Updated washers and bolts for hub
4. Half Shafts
It's on 21" Wheels. I hope this helps and I truly have been worried that the harshness would come back after the stretch and flex...
