Well, don't ask me how I know, but you can order a brand new one from a Rivian authorized repair center. The part number is PT00252562D, and the price earlier this year was $1,135.83 each.
They are making good progress on the $5.5 bn LG vehicle battery plant here in Queen Creek, Arizona, that will supply batteries for the new Rivian R2. They posted job listing's for new positions at the plant a couple months back. Go Rivian!

Physical buttons are so yesterday. Touchscreens and voice commands are a much better implementation of vehicle controls, compared to old school buttons. They allow for software reconfiguration which is a major step forward from buttons that are locked into one function.
