Welcome to Wyoming!
I hope I haven’t talked you out of the I-25 to I-90 route as I much prefer it over going west on I-80. Fewer semis and better scenery.
The Sheridan charger appears to be online.
I don’t think the charger in Hardin someone else mentioned is operational yet.
Gillette is a long way out of the way.
Be sure to check the winds before taking that bet. You can easily end up bucking a 40+ MPH headwind across the Crow Agency and especially once you’ve turned west around Hardin… and there’s nothing on 90 to save you before you get to Billings.
Wyoming/Montana resident here. Sheridan is indeed the choke point. There’s just that single 62 kW charger at the jeep dealership. Be sure and check the status of that charger before you commit to heading there. I wouldn’t recommend counting on that one outside of normal business hours. 2/4 times...
Well, it happened. Truck slid backwards into my parked R1T at the ski area. Dented the tailgate and rear quarter panel. Anyone have experience with any of the Rivian certified body shops along the northern end of the Colorado front range?
Hey! I just did that trip. Laramie to Missoula actually.
Charging at the mall in Casper is solid. Sheridan is the choke point, but the single fast charger at the Jeep dealer worked fine for me, but it’d be a disaster if that one didn’t work. Billings was fast enough and had a pizza place across...
So, I just locked in my R1T last night. Got a total sinking feeling seeing these headlines. Head started to explode assuming I’d paid $10k more than if I’d waited another 8 hours before confirming my configuration.
Nope! Looks like the tonneau is now free and they charged me $9100 for the max pack ?
