Hey! I know this thread is old but I’m having the same exact sound in my 24 Gen 1. It’s been there for an entire year but it only happens occasionally so it’s been super hard for me to figure out. Can you update on if the issue got fixed and what the service center ultimately did? Thanks!

Ok that probably explains them doing the updated dampers. I believe the updated dampers started in late 2023 and early 2024. My R1T is a 2024 model so I think it already has the updated dampers from factory.

Also confirmed that if customers ask for the jounce lines or complain about squeaking they will do the retrofit to the new parts. is your R1S a 2022 or 2023 model? I know that 2024 models should already have the new updated dampers.

I’d definitely submit a ticket with that video you uploaded and have them check everything on your suspension! The squeaking definitely sounds like mine but the other noises I’m not really sure what sounds normal and what doesn’t.

Awesome! Can’t wait for my service appointment in the next like 3 weeks to get them replaced. I do still have the occasional clunks and creaks but the squeaking has definitely been my main negative about the suspension!

Correct! This is supposedly the fix for that!

We’re both going to the Seattle SC in September. I’m going to mention the jounce lines too ?. Seattle SC better stock up on these parts because they are about to get at least 2-3 people asking in the next month.

Ok nice. I’ll get service chat on the app to add this to my appointment. I’ll probably just have them add a ticket saying there’s low speed suspension squeaking/chirping that is a known common occurrence in most Rivians including mine. I’ll make sure they add the “jounce line” wording specifically.

OP is the Seattle SC where you got the work done? That would be awesome if I could go next month and say, “I know you’ve done this work here on a previous customers truck!” Haha

I’ve got an appointment at the new Seattle SC next month! I’m going to chat with service support and see if I can have them add this to my ticket. Im curious to see what the SC says!
