I wonder if it is a "plug too hot" issue? I experienced something similar at a supercharger in SoCal this past weekend where it limited me to 150 kW, and the adaptor was super hot when I removed it b/c it was sitting in the direct sunlight on a 95 degree day.
The plug and charge also seems...
I knew you could do it during navigation in the vehicle, but I couldn't figure out how to do it while planning a trip in the app (which I always do ahead of time). Then I realized just now you have to do it from the map by "adding a stop" to the trip.
I had the same issue this weekend going from Tucson to LA, with the nav continuing to tell me to use the SC in Quartzsite instead of the RAN. I ended up changing it to only prefer Rivian chargers and that gave me the desired charging stops.
It would be awesome if we eventually could select how...
Has anyone been to Shoshone recently and can give an update? I was planning a road trip through Death Valley in October and having that RAN open would be great.
My A2Z adapter was delivered this week, and I went and tried it yesterday. It worked like a charm, very easy to use once I figured out how to use the lock switch. I didn't have any trouble inserting the cable or getting it to lock.
Do we know what the deal is with planned/permit locations which haven't had activity in a couple years? I am looking at Dateland, AZ and El Paso, TX specifically.
As someone who took delivery this March, I'm pretty nervous that I won't even get an adaptor this year at this rate. Hopefully the production and delivery of adaptors accelerates in Q3.
