Just reviving this again. I know someone mentioned them before but these look specific for the Rivian. Any thoughts on these as an alternative to 1EV? No load rating mentioned on their site though... the other specs look right?
Road Ready Wheels
If you’re around Vancouver see if Brentwood carries them yet? (side note went in few weeks ago and they only just got their paint pens)
Otherwise shipping to border is best bet
Got another q for ya as I keep watching these! How is the seal around the R1S? Them mosquitos are a big no go and i feel like my repellent and thermacell budget is already through the roof. if theres as much as a coin hole gap i feel like the tent might be a deal breaker for me personally.
they looked pretty close in terms of comfort and quality, what made you pick exped over it?
Also appreciate the non hosty videos! Just let us observe in actuality of what you're doing ??. Did you ever consider one of those thunderbolt supply or the newer fruble back of R1S kitchens with this...
Wow fantastic work. Been researching options for a kitchen setup on the R1S. Will have to seriously consider this. More-so excited to see it from a local company! Would be curious to see an installation video of how quick/easy it is to put in. Surprised the only locking point are the latches and...
lots of good bits and bobs mentioned here already. I would argue putting top dollars on a solid sleeping mat will be the best bet for a happy wife. I never liked those blow up ones for being too crinkly and floaty feeling. Invest in the Exped Megamat Auto, you'll find more than enough praise for...
Yah unfortunately shipping to the border is only feasible option. There's some cheaper running boards available around here for <$1000 (orko and some amazon ones) but I dont like how much clearance you lose and appear to be cheaper in quality. If you order from the states should be readied with...
Hahaha was a decent turnout! Still feels like Rivian is a fairly new thing in Vancouver, maybe only see 3 R1s in a week and I drive around quite a bit.
The R2 postcards were sweet.
Was just thinking about this as well… it’s odd because a previous update fixed this same issue late last year but appears to be back again after the most recent 50.01
1a) I think Electrify Canada seems like the best bet (they also have a bunch of chargers in Revelstoke). For backup, I have Flo / BC Hydro installed.
Having made several roundtrips from Banff Id say so. Dont forget to subscribe for the month of the + pass. A roundtrip should more than make up...
Off of a recommendation from another thread. It is however comparatively very expensive and also way chunkier but it's pretty serious set of stairs.
