Here is the thing, there should be “no” software issues. How many issues do you have with the firmware of your dishwasher or washing machine? I would imagine none. They need to test everything thoroughly before releases, customers should not be part of the debugging process.

Chiming in on this one. I have a Quad Gen 1, charge to 80% every other day, that gives 250 miles of range. You can do that 150 mile trip, all-day everyday, even if it slipped into 200 mile range. No charging whatsoever while on the round trip. That's in All-Purpose/all wheel drive by the way...

The issue is more that the kids just jump in before they're buckled in (parent is fussing with groceries or loading backpacks and what not) and they head right to the front screen. If it's locked or disabled that stops.
