my Rivian has been in a certified auto body shop going on +4 weeks since ordering parts (7 weeks if you count the time getting aligned with insurance) Is this normal? I reached out to the shop and they said they are still waiting on a few trim pieces but have begun to paint the rest.

there are also after market tie downs that are a lot cheaper and more flexible with "bolt action" - not as nice looking and well packaged as the rivian ones.

Thanks for sharing this. Its really eye opening to hear about the pickup truck strategy - it now makes sense why they don't have a 220v, why they went with a smaller bed than comparable mid size trucks, why the 2nd row isn't as spacious as something like Silverado, etc. Very thoughtful design...
