  1. Home Charging Error - Using Portable Charger

Thanks. That cord seemed tight in there. So I puty bmw on 20a charging and tried the charger all day. The recepticle is cooler and I haven't had any errors from the bmw unless their software doesn't show stoppage or notify if it happens
  2. Home Charging Error - Using Portable Charger

If I go hardwired does anyone recommend the chargepoint flex, emperio, Tesla or uwc or grizzl
  3. Home Charging Error - Using Portable Charger

Tesla UWC works for a Rivian and Bmw i4? I thought they were specific for Tesla and was recommended Grizzle / emporia / chargepoint.
  4. Home Charging Error - Using Portable Charger

Is there any issue if I just upgrade the current receptacle/ Nema to a EV rated like 9450a and just use the plug-in charger which never gets removed. I figure it would be a lot cheaper just swapping that out versus getting a new charge station plus installation costs. Also are these what I...
  5. Home Charging Error - Using Portable Charger

I'll have to go check. If I were to upgrade to let's say the Hubble, is it perfectly fine to use a level 2 portable charger consistently vs charge station? I would probably have to just have someone come in and replace the receptacle but I'm just double-checking if it's not maybe the portable...
  6. Home Charging Error - Using Portable Charger

We've had it for about a year. I'm going to try the BMW i4 portable charger tonight and see if that changes things to see if it's maybe that the rivian charger. We never unplug it so I don't think it's loose either How much should an electrician charge to put in a new one and is there a...
  7. Home Charging Error - Using Portable Charger

Been using the Rivian Portable Charger the last year in my garage which never gets unplugged. Currently have had my R1S set to charge at 28amp or 22amp. Once or twice during the charge I will get a charger error notification asking me to try again. After a few minutes it starts charging again...
  8. Tire Advice for 2023 Rivian R1S – Stuck Between XTM, KO3, and Toyo A/T III

We got them over the summer and like them so far. They're obviously not as quiet as non-off-road tires, but they look great and ride fine Look around as well as discount tire. Can price match. I think we got them for about 345/tire. Added on four replacement certificates for about 1900 before...
  9. Charging Error - Unplug and Retry Again

I’ve got a 2023 Rivian with ~30k miles. I use the official Portable Charger about twice a week and only charge to 80%. Over the last few months, I’ve been getting intermittent issues — the app notifies me that charging has stopped, shows a “Charging Error,” and the truck screen shows the...
  10. 2023 R1S: Two distinct clicks when releasing the brake pedal at <10 MPH (Stop-and-Go)

So both clicks are normal... The slight click when you release the pedal and then the click in the wheel well sound.
  11. 2023 R1S: Two distinct clicks when releasing the brake pedal at <10 MPH (Stop-and-Go)

I'm trying to diagnose a persistent and annoying clicking noise on my 2023 R1S, most noticeable at slow speeds, especially in stop-and-go traffic (under 10 MPH). The noise sequence is very specific when releasing the brake pedal (or lightly pressing the accelerator to move from a stop): Video...
  12. 20" Inch Toyo Open Country A/T III EV 275/65/20 116H tires review

Just got the SL 275/65r20 installed. What setting are we choosing in the r1s tire configuration page?
  13. 20" Inch Toyo Open Country A/T III EV 275/65/20 116H tires review

I'm ordering the toyo SL from rack tonight. $410 each shipped to discount tire. Do you recommend I get the certificates or is the free roadside just as good from tire rack?
  14. Tire Advice for 2023 Rivian R1S – Stuck Between XTM, KO3, and Toyo A/T III

I hear ya. Had a tech at the house yesterday who also said Perellis suck. Going with the Toyo AT III SL 116h
  15. Tire Advice for 2023 Rivian R1S – Stuck Between XTM, KO3, and Toyo A/T III

Thanks. I've read the same between the SL and the TL. Here's my current at about 29k. Fronts are worse than the backs with one of the most balding towards the outside. If performance is relatively the same, maybe I'll get the TL just to give me that added advantage if I did go off-road. Do...
  16. Tire Advice for 2023 Rivian R1S – Stuck Between XTM, KO3, and Toyo A/T III

Yeah that's what I see the general consensus at. Leaning towards the SL Toyo Open Country III which seems to be getting good reviews. The only thing we really get bad down south is rain some days so wet rating is a good thing.
  17. Toyo Open Country A/T EV tires mounted (will update over weekend test)

Great. Have you noticed how they do in hot weather or with rain? I assume you have them at 48psi.
  18. Toyo Open Country A/T EV tires mounted (will update over weekend test)

Are they 275 65r20 SL or TL? Also, do you have any rubbing that is reported on certain forums
