Concur ^^^ We took a 500 mi RT trip in WA state this weekend and Tesla charging (without membership) was more per mile than my ICE Ram 2500 Cummins. :-/ Lessons were learned.

The matrix lights work amazingly well for me. I live in a rural area with a fair bit of night driving. So far no other drivers have objected to the lights. It gets foggy enough that I can see the 'holes' in the light as other cars go by. Fantastic system. It only gets confused in suburban areas...

Gen 2 upgraded system, and it sounds uninspiring at best. Pretty poor quality for the money. I have a 10 year old Audi with the B&O system and it sounds far superior.

The silence from Rivian Sales/Delivery people is most definitely crazy-making. I had similar experiences when I submitted an order for a specific combination. Not a word post-order, and actually I made several appointments to speak directly with a rep and they didn't make it to the appointments...

Ordered a shop R1T and Tonneau cover "will be installed later" even though I should be taking delivery later in September. I know this has been covered but I simply can't understand a company taking $$$ for an option, or selling a shop R1T WITH it configured and it's not available at delivery...
