Were you moving when you extended to max height? I did it in my garage and I don't think it really made any difference. But if it needs to be moving a bit, I'll try that.
I have a clicking somewhere on the driver's side that only I can hear. Not sure if it's coming from the door or the dash or the steering wheel. haha I've tried to find it, but it doesn't always do it.
That's what I was thinking. I put a blanket in the tub under the back floor. I may put a few more to see if that changes the sound. Won't help with the tire dribble but maybe it's something.
Mine always seemed to be coming from the right side, but they replaced the left side. Sounds the same now though as before, to me it sounds more prevalent on the right side. Maybe just because I'm sitting in the driver's seat?
I took the service center tech on a ride when I first took it in about the issue. He said it absolutely shouldn't be making the noises it was. They did a few things (see above) and I thought it was fixed but I normally just run on firm setting.
Yeah, we'll have to wait until June. But I don't read the email that way at all. It specifically calls out Launch Green costing extra, in a different paragraph. There is no mention of the other colors costing extra, I would think they'd make it clear if those are also extra. Why point out Launch...
We're excited. Day 1 within the first hour reservation holder and current R1 owner and 20 miles from a service center. Wife is chomping at the bit to get one. She loves purple but doesn't like the borealis. Her color is the Catalina Cove. So we are sitting at the future configurator screen...
Sorry about resurrecting this but just wondering if this is how all R1S's are. One day last week I got in and the booming clunk and tire dribbling were back. I was like WTF. Started poking around the UI and noticed my wife switched it back to soft ride.
So, I took it around my neighborhood...
I assume I wouldn't get a new tag going from a Mach E to a R2 correct? So, my registration should just transfer along with my current license plate. For the R1 we went from a Lightning to the R1S so had to get new everything.
Trying to decide what to do. I got our RUC bill for our Mach E, which still has a year left on its registration. I've already paid the RUC for our R1. However, as soon as the R2 comes out I plan on trading our Mach E in for the R2. What is the likelihood PA will make us pay a second time this...
Both the charger and truck have to communicate successfully for charging, at most the truck didn't know how to handle the fault it was receiving from a non-Rivian DCFC. I wouldn't say it's a software bug on Rivian's part. If this happened on RAN then it would be a different story. So, I don't...
Too bad one of the questions isn't - Are you interested in the Launch Edition R2?
Would be interesting to see how many day 1 reservation current owners there are.
If moving to another Tesla charger worked, then it was probably the charger. If moving to another charging platform like RAN/EA, then it was probably the Tesla payment service. We haven't had any issue after the update.
