Well dang it, it looks like the truck has multiple electrical issues that they're not able to pinpoint and require advanced troubleshooting. Hope to get news by next week.
No shittier way to enjoy my birthday with a broken truck getting towed that I just bought a week ago. Lets see how long it'll take to do warranty repairs. I thought the techs did a multi inspection before delivering it? How do they miss a broken suspension, broken tonneau cover, ABS, cruise...
It's a 2022 used, the truck was fine until the update. Tech had me go through steps and put the truck to sleep. It fixed the problem but then it happened again but this time the suspension is sunk to the bump stops and the errors won't go away, it actually has a new error. It's botched...
I just got my R1T and it's having serious issues, I hope I won't be regretting buying it. I traded in my Model Y for this hoping it was better quality. Having the suspension fail, reverts to front wheel drive and all the safety controls disable on snow and ice is unnerving. Especially when...
Well this isn't a good feeling after owning the truck for 1 week to have all my sensors, cameras, LiDaR, air suspension, crash avoidance, traction control, ABS, stuck in conserve mode, etc for the second time. It's sketch while on snow and the suspension suddenly stops working and sinks to the...
Nope no rubbing at all not even over bumps on low. I can turn lock to lock with no rubbing. These are 34s which is a factory option for the 20s. I had the bed loaded with my old tires and no issues over speed bumps.
At the tire shop they didn't think it would fit but on low it does great with no rubbing. Although I haven't tried the lowest setting and probably won't try lol.
I was also thinking too of security of the generator. Breaking a hood open or a mallet to the tonneau cover to steal it. Much harder to lift it out with a hood in the way vs rolling it out the bed if they get the tailgate open.
Just for fun I thought about getting a fogging machine and use black food die in water and oh don't forget the stove pipe rolling...black water vapor ?. Oh God LMAO should use old military jerry cans.
Well...it may never leave the frunk and become permanent ? but the wheels and handles have to come off in order to fit including the shelf. Although just strapping it in the bed, strap in some LNG tanks and use the gear guard cables is a simple solution and prob more realistic lol.
I think I'll be fine, it's only 214 lbs. If it's too heavy then I can roll it into the bed and strap it down. I'm leg pressing 855 lbs and curl 70's no pun intended. I'm from Hawai'i so we tend to be on the bigger side ? but I appreciate your concern guys.
Some repurposed civic engine mounts and a tailpipe that raises with the hood. Then some LNG tanks in the bed. Need a charge? Pop the hood and plug-in. Maybe a raspberry pie to control the peripherals and bluetooth then just gotta code up the app for the phone. Or get a generator that already...
I picked up a 2022 R1T quad Launch Edition with 22 inch wheels and 33s. Luckily the previous owner already had the speedo calibrated for 34s. I put 285 55 22 tires on, no rubbing then also added side steps.
