    I had this issue specifically with a clipper creek unit. The fit inside the port is more snug than what I'm using now, Tesla Universal Wall connector. Since I switched, I've only had this issue with the clipper creek. I think w/the tighter fit, there must be an alignment issue w/the locking pin...

    Yes, phone key in hand for sure. It has no issue locking / unlocking with proximity setting. iPhone 15 pro max, and like I said no issues with the proximity functions. It unlocks when I walk up to it away from home, and locks when I walk away. And to confirm, I have the truck set to NOT...

    This makes perfect sense, and in general, when a car is locked, the charger is as well, so as you said people can't just randomly unplug it. But in this case, the truck is NOT locked.
