  1. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

Im also at about 6k miles and no vibration. My stock 20 pirellis were awful with vibration at speeds over 60. I tried getting them rebalanced 3 times at Discount Tire, but decided it was probably a road force balance issue that my local place wasn't equipped to do. Since I swapped to the Toyos...
  2. Halloween update yet yes or no?

We have 2 gen 1s ('22 T and '23 S) without connect+ and haven't heard anything. Glad I'm not paying for priority updates. Going to add my voice to the those who are perennially confused why we have a 2 day Halloween update. My wife's favorite time of year is leading up to Halloween and she is...
  3. New Tire Recs - Analysis Paralysis

As of the last 5 days the Toyos are ?less? backordered. In stock at both Tire Rack and Discount Tire, though you may have to call because supplies are still tight.
  4. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

Toyos are off backorder now at both Tire Rack and Discount Tire. Yes I know they are owned by the same people, but they have different ordering systems.
  5. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

Update on my Toyo order: ordered the SLs from Discount Tire 5/27. Initially given 5 day window estimate. 5/28 ordered the same set from Tire Rack with an ETA of 6/13. 6/6 got a call they were back in stock at Tire Rack. Arrived at my local Discount Tire today 6/9. Appt for next week to have them...
  6. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

Im still on my factory AT Pirellis. Ive got 4-5/32 all the way around so I can wait a bit if necessary
  7. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

I don't like the styling of the Goodyears. More of an AS tire IMO. Nitto's I've been considering, but seems like the Toyos had the best AT ability / efficiency trade-off? My opinion is based solely on anecdotes from this website ha
  8. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

Just got off the phone with Discount Tire in ATL, and they said there are no Toyo SLs available from either Toyo or any DT nationwide. Also tried multiple other online sellers with no luck. Whomp. Now I'm trying to decide whether to wait for the SLs or to just get the LTs. I don't tow, and only...
  9. 2025 R1s 12V battery location

I know this was discussed in many posts a yearish ago when the Gen2 specs first came out, but I hate hate hate this. I hate it so much it is almost a dealbreaker for me ever upgrading from my Gen1 (even though I would love a Gen2 quad motor). I have an old 2016 Jeep GC with a similar battery...
  10. Windshield - Too easy to get chips/ cracks.....Any experience

I had driven SUVs for 20+ years prior to getting my R1T and had to replace exactly zero windshields. With my R1T I've filled 3 large star chips in the last 2 years. Been holding out on replacing the glass mainly because it is a huge hassle.
  11. Any Non-Connect+ Users got the 2024.39 Update yet?

No connect+ R1T now updated for 3 days. Haven't seen anything for my R1S.
  12. R1T Max Pack powering my house, thanks Hurricane Helene

We just did exactly the same thing, though we only powered a few lamps, cell phone chargers, and a small fridge. Used a pair of 100ft 10gauge extension cords I already had. All our appliances are huge builtins with crazy hard to access plugs, so we couldn't get to the fridge, microwave, etc...
  13. My consumption averaged 3.29 mi/kWh!

Drove 250 miles at 75mph the other day and averaged 2.3 mi/kw. Rivian's trip calculator was so confused. It initially estimated I would arrive to my destination with 10 miles to spare, but it read 57 at the end of the trip. That's in a quad with ATs
  14. New R1S Dual Performance Max AT Range issues

I've had my quad for 2 years and get between 1.9-2 efficiency at ~75mph and 60-90 degree temps. This actually compares favorably to rated range. ~130 useable pack lets me go about 200 miles before I start looking for a charger (starting from 100%). For my entire life I've always researched...
  15. Need Help 2025 Phone as Key Issues

There is another thread that just started regarding bluetooth audio phone call problems after the latest update. Is your new rivian on the newest software? Both of these problems could be related to bluetooth issues from the latest software update
  16. Drop charging

First, you are welcome to your opinion just as I am welcome to mine. Thank you for your clearly extremely knowledgeable (way beyond me) input. The plug itself is very warm, while the charging cable is less so. I do not have a IR thermometer or the like to measure exact temps. Could I possibly...
  17. Drop charging

So for the past three days I've been going back and forth with the Rivian charging team on this. The three keys to this problem are 1) it is a new development over the past 2 months, that 2) affects both my R1T and my wife's R1S, 3) even when we charge overnight in 75 degree temps. I cannot...
  18. Phone as a key randomly deleted

I was unable to unlock from the app. I had to go get my keycard to unlock and then once in the car I had to set up my key again. Glad to hear it is isolated ?‍♂️
  19. Phone as a key randomly deleted

Has anyone else had their phone randomly deleted as a key? In my app it appears know as "Ready for Setup." I have an s23+ and I have had zero problems for the last 1.5 years until today (just updated car to the latest software this morning).
