I've owned an Gen 2 R1S (Dual Standard) for over a year and a half at this point. Over 19K miles driven. Here are my impressions after a relaxed solo R2 demo.

You talk a lot about very niche desires. Watermelon green color? Customizable wallpapers, auto park? Wow. I think you’ve made the right decision to not get a Rivian vehicle but I think you might not be happy with really any vehicle.
Yes!! This. The biggest thing for me is the HUGE performance hit in the cold. I’m in a place that just had a 10 day period below freezing and it was hell for my range.

I have been running into an issue using my Rivian Portal Charger recently. The charge session will just stop sporadically, without any real discernible pattern.
I called Rivian Support and we both thought "alright, this is a charger...
I believe it does, but honestly…sometimes that reboot happens too close to the actual update. Again…think of computers but with a whole lot more peripherals and actions happening every millisecond
Not a fan boy like @Lord Leroy would like to characterize me as, but I really would recommend a vehicle restart. It’s important to remember, we’re driving really big and smart computers. Computers sometimes need to reboot, especially after updates.
