The renderings are of the office building on the campus, not the factory. It's not that surprising that they would want a "showpiece" office building anchoring the campus. This looks like it is conceptually inspired by BMW Welt (BMW World) in Munich. I toured there years ago.

I'd be curious, if you have time, to explain the conceptual inspiration you see. I should probably see it, but alas, do not.

I remember when I did euro delivery before the Welt was finished. Pretty much delivery the vehicle in a garage. Less than a year later I see pics of the Welt and wtf! Oh well. It was still a killer way to buy a car and save money while driving across Europe. No regrets.
