  1. Overnight Demo - Takeaways from a Model 3 owner

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not bashing. There’s still software quirks in my 3 that make me shake my head. I understand that there’s going to be differences, especially with Rivian still early in the EV game. Definitely rooting for them. They’re a compelling brand. I may be slightly spoiled with...
  2. Overnight Demo - Takeaways from a Model 3 owner

I was able to precondition the battery to 70F. Cool feature with the drivetrain screen.
  3. Overnight Demo - Takeaways from a Model 3 owner

It was a Gen2. Maybe not outright saying no as much as not completely sold. I’ve got time. It’s reassuring to hear the opportunities I’ve experienced are not widespread.
  4. Overnight Demo - Takeaways from a Model 3 owner

A Model 3/Y compared to a R1 is quite basic. But then again one is a sedan and another a pickup…. I’ve been able to handle all upgrades to my 3 myself with very little in the way of complexity.
  5. Overnight Demo - Takeaways from a Model 3 owner

Glad to hear you’re enjoying the R1! The navigation kept attempting to reroute me back even though I made it to my destination in less time. You make a good point regarding the RAN charger. With this being my 1st visit, it was disappointing and left a bad impression. Probably would’ve been...
  6. Overnight Demo - Takeaways from a Model 3 owner

Hi everyone. After having an initial short test drive, Rivian offered an overnight demo. My 1st drive was with a R1T dual large with the AT package. The overnight was a R1T dual max performance on 22” wheels. Not new to EVs. I’ve owned a Model 3 for almost 6 years. I’ve had full, mid, and...

Thanks! Good to know! The plans are to make the Rivian the new year round daily driver. My son will be getting his license at the end of summer so he’ll drive the 3P. I had a very quick and uninformative test drive at a local dealership but left with so many unanswered questions. We have a...

I’ve heard the performance of the Gen 1 quads are impressive. My 3P will be staying with me. I’ve outfitted some suspension goodies and love taking it on the BRP and Skyline Drive. Not really looking for anything quick. Just need something more capable of varying terrains. Even with a...

Hi everyone! Just wanted to say hey! I’ve owned a Model 3 Performance since 2019. With my recent move to the Shenandoah Valley, I’m doing some research for my next EV which will be a pickup or SUV. I have R2 and Scout reservations but don’t know if I can wait. The snow has been crazy! Looking...
