Congratulations. Love the wheels. I am curious why your lease numbers are $1k+. For a $84,200 Standard R1S, I see $850 lease estimate under Rivian website. Is the website calculator not accurate?

Debating switching from 2023 Tesla Model X to Dual Motor R1S. I know I am going to miss Autopilot. Reading this thread I am second guessing my move. Could someone who switched from a Tesla to Gen2 R1S please confirm how the premium audio compares with Tesla?

After reading all posts in this thread, I think I want to hold off on my R1S order for another year (or even longer). I use Autopilot/FSD 95% of my drive in Model Y and sounds like Driver + has a long way to go. Another differentiator, Autopilot can be engaged anywhere.

I picked one from shop on 07/06. R1S with OC interior and white exterior. 22” wheels. 150xx VIN. No eta on arrival at Brooklyn service center yet. I can’t wait for Edison service center to open.

Thanks for sharing and many congratulations. I still see front protection as an option under the configuration. They list this as a filter under R1 shop as well. Did they stop installing XPel at the factory? I have been waiting for R1S with front protection to appear in R1 Shop.

I asked whether I can push the delivery until next year and they did not say no. I am going to delay unless they force me to buy this year.

Thanks @SoCal Rob. There are noise issues with current suspension. No? I remember seeing threads on this topic. Also, there was news couple months ago that Rivian is switching to a new suspension.
