I share this opinion. My experience with my standard G2 over the last 18 months is similar (apart from the availability of great restaurants at RAN stations in the west). I do believe ambient outdoor temps do have significant impact on "real" range stats. I do not live in a cold climate.
Only go Large/Max Pack for frequent highway driving. The trade off for the significantly higher lease payment is not worth it unless you consistently need max range. No issues in a warm climate. Easier on the wallet and tires. Level 3 charging? always gets it done when asked upon. No complaints.
I used EA 3 times and RAN once this week. Phoenix to Yuma and back. EA was very fast with no connection issues. I will continue to use their membership plus plan to take advantage of considerably cheaper pricing than RAN or Tesla.
For the first time however, my R1T would not automatically...
Thanks for pics Jason, I can confirm as well, it hits MUCH better now. Burbons and Lacs by Master P , sounds as it should. Quality is about what I would expect from the factory premium package. I was a little surprised how small the woofer actually is, pretty puny.
A 10inch sub could fit...
This makes complete sense to me. 25 R1T with premium audio and no THUMP whatsoever.
Would love some additional pics if available of where to go to pull apart and fix.
I tried to push a route generated from the Rivian app to the truck this morning. When I got in the truck the route was not loaded. The navigation screen was open and the keyboard showing waiting for input. When I backed out of the keyboard and tried a second time to push the route from the...
I had a similar experience, but not underground. I was on a road trip driving on a state hwy with limited connection. I lost LTE connectivity briefly. It took Sirius XM over 30 minutes, AFTER I had re-established a strong LTE signal, to continue playing the game I was listening to.
Apple...
I did that route last month. You will only see it on I-40 and I-17 and a taste of the last stretch of I-11 once you get over the Hoover dam going towards Vegas. It’s a shame it doesn’t work on 93, especially the long straight from Kingman to Vegas. So far, I’ve found it mostly works on...
I recently completed two, separate road work trips. I've been using RAN almost exclusively because I have incentive to do so for the next couple of months. When that incentive expires, I will still continue to use RAN when the need is there because it works so quickly and accurately. No...
I’d echo the others that say just drive. I just completed my 1st out of town trip (PHX>Vegas) in R1T dual standard. I stopped twice, about 20 minutes each time, all complimentary (free) charging. I kept it around 75mph, no stress. Level 3 charging isn’t too hard to find these days. I just wish...
I was in contact with them end of February and they were dealing with a series of unfortunate setbacks. Perhaps they’ll give an update here before too long…
