soft-close doors would be nice, especially given how heavy these doors are to close. for kids, it’s near 100% that they have to re-open and slam a half-closed door. for adults it’s still close to 50%.

i received my welcome kit a couple of weeks ago, but still don’t have the CCS adapter or the speaker.

my understanding is that the car will not perform the spin if it meets a certain level of resistance from the road, which is probably quite low. i’m actually looking forward to trying this on ice/snow covered streets in the winter to avoid three point turns.

this post freaked me out a little, as i couldn’t imagine Rivian would deliver a car without the adapters someone needs to use their own (RAN) charging network. I called the CS where i will be picking up tomorrow, and they confirmed both adapters will be with the car on delivery.

i got a message today from Rivian saying my gear has shipped. it only specified the fob, but i expect/hope it’s the entire package.
