Hey gang - ever since I got my R1T back January, I've been having issues with vent movement using the display. I noticed that at times, either the vent wont react at all, or will partially react. For example - If I try to close the center vent entirely, it will either not do anything, or just...

Got the truck back - looks as good as new! Total is $7700 and change... not bad at all! No painted panel damage as I mentioned, so that kept costs low, and no paintwork required either! Big big happy from my side! For those wondering - shop is B&S Hacienda in Pleasanton CA - they are Rivian...

Wanted to give folks an update - total cost of repairs? Roughly $8k... YUP! No frame damage (was on the rack), only superficial damage to plastic and bolt-on components under the bumper and around the trailer hitch. Hoping to get it back end of this week or early next week. Can't wait!!

Looks great! Sasquatch aka Viv the Riv is currently in the shop; dropped off yesterday. I cannot wait as I am driving a craptastic Polestar 2 rental :'(

I guess the question is - whether the frame/skateboard are dipped into a paint bath, or spray painted before the panels are welded on? Either way - I can feel the ridges of the paint - I don't think that'd byproduct of poor manufacturing... but I hope I am wrong and you're right :o

So earlier today I lifted the flap between the tailgate and the bed, and noticed the two support ribs (for the lack of a better word) - notice how the right rib is smooth, and the left one has paint crinkles - you can see the energy transfer from the crash bar.

The hilarious part is that as I got to my office and sat down, my phone range and it was Geico saying their insured called, admitted fault etc etc. This is not my first time dealing with them, but also wont be my first rodeo if i have to subrogate as I've done that before. I took a closer look...

Initial estimate from Geico (his insurance, not mine) - $2500 :CWL: Oh I am sure they are in for a surprise...

...and ends up totaling his car. Mine - hopefully no unibody damage; lots of cosmetic damage to the bumper surround/valance, the lights, sensors, the hitch plug is busted... it'll be a fun time, I am sure. His insurance already took the blame for this; his parents (to whom the car is registered)...

Thanks @Bigwavedave949 and @Mousetrap - I'll let you know! There's a dude nearby that is selling 21" wheels with low-tread (but perfect for a spare) tire for under $300/wheel. If it falls through, I'll hit y'all up!

Hello fellow Livermorian! You don't happen to have an OEM spare wheel you'd want to get rid of... right? :D (I just got a 24 with 22"s and trying to find a spare wheel to keep in the well).

What is the tire size on a 21" wheel? I just got a R1T and would love to get a spare as mine didnt come with one, but I have 22" wheels... and I am in NorCal - so if the 21" wheels + tire = ~33" overall diamater and you ever make it to the bay. I'd be interested!
