Just a followup.
As I was trying to take a video of the issue to send to the service center, the problem corrected itself. Looks like that first slat had to work hard to get through.
BTW my first tonneau cover issue was solved with a recalibration (as explained by @captainjp ).
I guess that...
On my second tonneau cover issue (won't open more than 4 in), I took an appointment this afternoon for service. Earliest date is May 20th !
And btw this is in the Laval service center (when did it open?). Nothing available on Ferrier (they're closing it).
This means we cannot carry our bikes...
I must have received a rock on the hood (heard the noise, was dark at night) and it left the following scratch, about half an inch long. It feels relatively deep however. Any advice?
Thanks.
You'd need to provide a bit more details on what the error is.
Also, did you download the app? Both Circuit Electrique and Flow apps should allow you to start a session.
FWIW I'm using a iPhone 11 Pro Max. Not sure if the issue is specific to the phone.
I had already searched the forum and it seems like no one else has that kind of issue.
Just wondering if anybody else has that issue. Someone calls me when I'm in my R1T, I can hear them perfectly fine, but they complain that they can hear themselves. It's like there's no audio cancellation of the sound coming from the speakers.
That seems to be a recent issue. I'm on version...
Just a followup on my previous message, about my reasons for answering no.
So I finally met with @RivianNE, yesterday.
My R1T (2024 first gen) is currently on winter tires. So I have 20in wheels, with 275/60R20 winter tires. Tire pressure was somewhat low (47psi after 30min drive). Ambient...
I'm currently out of the country but when I'm back I have to schedule an appointment with the service center for another issue (GPS jumping in navigation). I'll inquire once more then.
I might also try to get in touch with @RivianNE and visit him to have his opinion on my R1T ride.
I voted no for a single reason, the harshness of the suspension over small road imperfections.
Mine is R1T first gen with the 21 in. But this winter, even with 20 in wheels and more meaty tires, the suspension remains harsh.
Too bad because if it were not for that issue I would say this is...
I'm parking my R1T in my driveway. However it's always plugged to the charger, and from time to time I know it uses some juice to recharge a bit (and keep thermals in check).
Coldest I've seen so far is -17C (1F) outside temp during a night. In the morning my battery was at -9C (16F), and...
I know a few people currently driving ICE trucks. The main reason the Lightning was not interesting to them is the range.
I also personally considered the Lightning last year (while I was waiting for my R1T), but again range was the issue. Especially when considering the not so good...
Got my R1T early August.
Still waiting to hear from the SC.
Did you try the chat? I wonder if they can provide some timeframe.
I'd certainly like to have mine before snow arrives.
The procedure didn't work for me. Not sure if it's because I don't have a 'lowest' setting (I have a dual motor only).
I'm hoping the 20in wheels (my winter setup) will improve ride quality. Otherwise I'll be shopping next spring for a replacement. The harsh ride is unacceptable for a...
Hello.
From various posts I've seen, it looks like having a smaller offset, say 20mm, than OEM (48mm) would make the wheel stick out more. But then from my understanding of what the offset it shouldn't it be the opposite?
Anybody with a drawing, or maybe a reference on the web somewhere to...
Quick followup. I chatted with someone at tirerack. They now mention it could possibly go in December before it's available. They even suggested I look at alternatives.
I asked about the fact that other owners had ordered at the same time but didn't get delay (yet). They had no explanations...
