UPDATE: Mobile tech dispatched today. He found coolant level below the minimum mark which will cause an air pocket in the module that cools the electronics, including the screens. Has to go to a service center. Data point: vehicle is 3.5 yrs old with 53K miles... never had a coolant...

I've had sporadic problems when the phone APP says the windows are down, but they're actually not. Usually, restarting the APP solves this problem... or trying to close the windows via the APP and letting it reset itself. YMMV.
This post is shared to provide a maintenance benchmark for other Gen 1 R1T owners. My R1T was born in September 2022 and just hit 37K miles. I have been experiencing a consistent "tocking" sound while driving at slow speeds, slow turns, speed bumps, etc... mobile tech (without benefit of a...
I love my annex - and highly recommend getting the floor (ground cloth for it as well). It does take some effort to setup (and then pack up) while solo... my rule is that I only use it if I'm going to be at the same campsite for 2 nights or more. It not only provides shelter but makes a nice...
UPDATE (04/23/2025): I successfully made it 3 weeks after the "Replace 12V Battery" warning light appeared. Mobile tech swapped my two 12V batteries yesterday afternoon. During the warning light period I did keep SOC above 50% and kept plugged in to maximum extent possible. Other than high...
I just got the rapid blink of the left turn signal indicator and confirmed that my left rear brake/signal light is not working... hope this is not related to my Replace 12V Battery warning. Has anyone done a DIY bulb replacement on the R1T?
What is the longest anyone has gone between the Replace 12V Battery warning light and actually having the batteries replaced - without your truck bricking? I'm one week into a 3-week wait for a mobile tech... considering making the drive to a SC if they can't get me moved up.
UPDATE (04/03/2025): I just received the "Replace 12V Battery" warning light with about 1500 miles left on my battery warranty. Mobile Tech appointment scheduled for 3 weeks out... was told as long as I don't let SOC dip below 20% then I should be fine. Fingers crossed for next 3 weeks but...
I've been using this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09XV7RLKJ?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2 ....and am pleased with it. It will fit in the front floor tray or on the rear seat floor.
I had a mobile service tech to my vehicle earlier this week for an unrelated warranty issue. While on site, I asked if he could run diagnostics on my 12V batteries since my R1T is a 9/22 build with about 35K miles and I'm getting worried about needing to practively replace the batteries before...
I'd worry about that white color showing dirt, stains, and general wear over time... but I love all of my iKamper products and pleased to see them partnering with Rivian.
