Hold it - am I reading this right? 350mile range for a large pack and around 400 for the Max pack? Only 50 miles more range for $10,000? I’ve got a Max pack R1T ordered - but give me reasons not to switch to a large, and save 10 grand.

Liked the photos of your new R1T (I also ordered it in white). I’ve heard/seen that some owners are putting their fridges in the frunk or in the gear tunnel. That way if the bed is loaded the fridge would be easily accessible. Did you try that?

So, zipzag, if I’m reading you correctly, even though my R1T Max will cost over $80,000, I’ll still be able to claim the $7500 tax credit based on the current law,, though it would not apply under the new law. And it wouldn’t matter if the truck was delivered on 2023. Correct?

Yeah, I have tried email to see what the expected delivery date might be for an R1T w/MaxPack and OC interior might be, but no response. From the above answers it sounds like neither chat nor calls will be very productive. Sigh, guess I’ll have to put my curiosity on the back burner for a year…..

Nice review and much appreciated. While it’ll probably be sometime in 2023 when I get my R1T w/Max pack, I’m a bit concerned about the wind noise issue - as you are not the first in this forum to mention it.

Hi Sam - Welcome back to the Land of Enchantment! Whereabouts in NM will you be living? I’m down in Lamy, just southeast of Santa Fe. I doubt I’ll see my R1T until sometime in 2023. Wow, exciting to hear Rivian is planning to open a service center Abq. That would be great!
