$1700 Service Center ONLY Windshield Replacement is UNSUSTAINABLE !
The windshield on my wifeās Model Y was $1550. The windshield on her X5 was $1800. The windshield on my Land Cruiser was $2200. The windshield on my Range Rover was $3k. Windshields are expensive. I live in the mountains, so I keep $0 glass coverage for a reasonā¦- swhme

Semi-permanent fridge in the cargo area?
Hey all! Iām looking forward to getting my R1S in a few weeks. In my R1T, I would always keep a small fridge in my frunk (This ICECO). Super handy to have some cool water and snacks on hand. I know the newer vehicles donāt have frunk power, but Iām thinking I can have it tucked to the side...- swhme

I think it was about being unique. They could be the first electric truck on the market. So they weren't running straight at Tesla with vehicle #1. Toyo Open Country A/T EV tires new release
I really wish that @OutofSpecKyle would do an in depth comparison of tires. I would LOVE to know, definitively, which AT tires I can put on my R1 for the best range. -

Thank god we donāt have downvotes on here, but youāre 100% right. The Rivian is a FANTASTIC appliance. But it doesnāt have a soul. I havenāt driven a Taycan, but I have a 6MT Cayenne, and it is a BLAST.- swhme

FWIW, I asked a friend who works fairly high up at Rivian to cough twice if I should wait to buy until after the refresh. He did not cough.- swhme

Hey all! I sold my R1T a few months ago-- the range just wasn't what I needed for off-road adventure, and so I put my R1T proceeds into my Land Cruiser, which is awesome now.
