  3. Comma AI / OpenPilot Autopilot Progress on R1!

Got it installed today! While there was definitely some cussing during the process, it only took about 45 minutes including a test drive to make sure everything was working before I put it back together
  4. New RAN in Durango

Working beautifully. It’s the most expensive charger ever, though, as it’s impossible to park in an REI parking lot and not drop $300
  5. New RAN in Durango

My favorite charger in the world is the DCFC in Pagosa. Plug in and go swimming in the River!
  6. New RAN in Durango

How so? I’ve never had a wait at the ChargePoint stations, and I love that they’re right downtown so I can grab lunch. That said, will be up in Durango next weekend, will check out the new RAN
  7. Seat Comfort (or lack thereof)

I wish it was that easy, I go to the gym three times a week, squats, glute lifts, box steps, still no bum.
  8. Seat Comfort (or lack thereof)

I’m not sure what it is that tweaks my back, but I expect that the cooling is part of the comfort issue. I suffer from a serious case of noassatall, and so I could really use some more padding on the seat bottom. My 05 Land Cruiser with no cooling is much more comfortable than my 21 Land...
  9. Seat Comfort (or lack thereof)

Alright, gang, next month will be 3 years and over 60k miles of Rivian driving, between my R1T and R1S, and as much as I hate to admit it, I hate the seats. My back feels like garbage as soon as I get in, and my butt feels like I’m sitting on cardboard, to the point where I tend to take my 20...
  10. Comma AI / OpenPilot Autopilot Progress on R1!

I wonder if we can get some sort of group buy going here. Not even for a discount, but so he knows that there are a bunch of folks ready to buy. Personally, I do a 400 mile drive on 2-lane roads pretty regularly (8-12 times a year), and would love to have great lane centering for this.

  13. Filling up therm-a-rest sleeping pads with the air compressor

Thought this little hack might come in handy for someone else. After trying a bunch of different sleeping pads, I landed on the new Therm-a-Rest NeoLoft. It's super comfortable, and packs down to be tiny (about the size of a water bottle), so I can leave it under the floor all the time...
  14. Rivian Owner Age Demographics Poll

  16. Frunk lid organizer-- how to mount?

I didn’t. I still have the parts ready to go, but I’ve been too chicken to actually do it. So far.
  17. Most efficient 20" tire?

FWIW, I’m about a thousand miles in to my Defender Platinums (275/65R20), and my gut feeling is that they’re about 5-10% less efficient than the Scorpions. That said, the weather turned a bit chillier and windy, so conditions are definitely a factor here, too. Yesterday, I did 192 miles, about...
