Has anyone had paintless dent repair done? I'm looking for recommendations in the Chicagoland area. I was in Northern Michigan over the weekend, and a silly deer jumped out of the woods on the side of the road and smacked into the right side of my R1S. Could have been a lot worse if I'd hit it...
Well, DANG! I dropped my R1S off at service yesterday and they expect to have it for the rest of the month. They gave me an R1T loaner but it's not on my account, so I can't control it from the mobile app. So no car costumes for me. ?
I have a detached garage. The guys I used dug a trench, pulled out the old conduit, buried the new, installed a 60amp sub panel, and hardwired the charger. I paid them $2700, summer of '23. DM me if you'd like their info.
This is horrendous news. Feels like Rivian is barely holding on and we're close to an earnings restatement or worse, and then the stock gets halted, our R1s are bricked, and we enter a few years of class actions and a shell of a company.
There are plenty of other EV makers that will take up...
I've used the a2z adapter a few times now. It is really hit or miss. Just did a road trip where I had to move the R1S a few times, trying the adapter out on 4 or 5 supercharger stalls before it started working. In no case was I able to "lock" the adapter. I was in a charging desert an it was...
It worked! I got 6.8kW for 12 hours straight which took me up to 77% state of charge and was a life saver in way northern WI. The real problem on this trip was the a2z NACS adapter which gave me massive trouble. It simply would not fully connect to 9 out of 10 Tesla chargers. Stressful!
Thanks for all the replies and help, everyone. This isn’t a campground, but a concert venue that has 3 shore power drops like this. I’m working closely with the production staff so if anything goes awry we should be able to work it out. ?
Hi all,
I am traveling to a rather remote location that has what they call "shore" power. I asked for more info and they sent me this picture of the panel:
Does this look like something I could use with the mobile charger that came with my R1S? The plug looks right, I just can't tell how...
As the original poster, I just have to say that my last couple service appointments (one mobile for tire rotation and one at the center for half shaft replacement) have been stellar.
Hi! I'm planning a trip from Chicago to Bayfield, WI and back over 3 days. I'm looking at a better route planner, plugshare, etc. and it isn't looking great. Any ideas for Northern Wisconsin charging?

Day 2 - Activities in and around Bayfield
