I've used the a2z adapter a few times now. It is really hit or miss. Just did a road trip where I had to move the R1S a few times, trying the adapter out on 4 or 5 supercharger stalls before it started working. In no case was I able to "lock" the adapter. I was in a charging desert an it was...

It worked! I got 6.8kW for 12 hours straight which took me up to 77% state of charge and was a life saver in way northern WI. The real problem on this trip was the a2z NACS adapter which gave me massive trouble. It simply would not fully connect to 9 out of 10 Tesla chargers. Stressful!

Thanks for all the replies and help, everyone. This isn’t a campground, but a concert venue that has 3 shore power drops like this. I’m working closely with the production staff so if anything goes awry we should be able to work it out. ?

Do you mean adjust in the charging options in the R1S? I assume the Rivian portable charger will just pull 32A and that would be fine.
