Ken, in same boat. 8 months of ownership and second windshield lasted 2 months. I live in Maine but both cracks were on highways due to small rocks. Applied Rain-x repair kit while I procrastinate having to go to Massachusetts for certified collision repair center for second time.

Liam, interesting details. One positive of the Android auto platform though is it's open source. That's big win vs. closed source that's not as customizable, requires a license fee, and allows OS platform owner to exert lots more control.

From what I've read Apple does charge a license fee albeit small "currently", but strategically that allows them under the hood and potential exert more control later. But again, main point is Rivian's stack needs comparison to cohort in Detroit.
