RJ addressed the location of the charge port in this video yesterday, specifically at the 6:50 mark.
Part of the reasoning has to do with curbside charging, but also accommodating existing owners and there current charging setup, as well as the RAN chargers. Whether or not this is a valid...
For those unable to customize their app launcher dock, I had the same issue. Do an infotainment reset and you will be able to add a 5th app to the dock again.

Tesla's Supercharging network is still closed to only Tesla vehicles. Even if you had the correct adapter, it would not work because the supercharger won't authenticate a non-tesla vehicle. Superchargers will open up to Rivian in the spring sometime IIRC. As mentioned above, Rivian will be...
Initial thoughts:
-Very well built, would expect it to be very durable.
-Lots of padding at the top of the tailgate, highly unlikely your bike would damage/dent your tailgate.
-the pad that your frame rests on is awesome, should do a great job protecting your bike frame.

You can drive with the driver's door open if your seatbelt is on and you're sitting in your seat. Same goes for the second item you mentioned. If your seatbelt is on and your door is closed, the vehicle wont go into park if you lift off the seat. Basically, as long as you have your seatbelt on...
I guarantee that Apple has extremely tight control on how other developers integrate their Music App. Apple would definitely need to be involved in integrating their Music app for Rivian’s vehicles. Without Apple’s support, it’s not happening, and Apple may not have resources available to...
Double check the kw/hr charge rate. The mi/hr is based off the drive mode you are currently in. If you are in conserve the mi/hr rate will be higher than if you are in sport mode. kw/hr is a much better reference number than mi/hr as mi/hr can fluctuate based on drive mode.
I can tell you with 100% certainty that if you have your seatbelt buckled and the door closed, the truck will NOT go into park if you lift off the seat. This applies to moving forward or in reverse. Don’t believe me? Go try it.
If your seatbelt is buckled it will not shift into park, assuming the door is closed. There 3 things the truck is monitoring:
Is seatbelt buckled?
Is the door closed?
Does the seat sense someone is in the drivers seat?
If 2 out of the 3 is true, it will not shift into park. This is a safety...
No truck, at least in the US, can use lights on the tailgate as brake lights. This is actually a safety regulation since the tailgate is moveable and the truck can be operated with the tailgate down. They don't want auto manufactures to rely on brake lights that may or may not always be visible...
