    the information of “ Trailer, TrekDrive ON: 1.9 mi/kWh” is misleading. In order to get the actual mi/kWh. You need to add the total battery capacity of the trailer and the Rivian. Then divided by the total distance travel.

    I tow every 2 wheels or so. With my R1t if not in a hurry and not far. With my Chevy HD2500, ( gas) I get 13mpg. Full tank of gas~ $120. I get 350+ miles ( east coast) mostly flat. ( that’s how I came up with those numbers).

    The fact that Ford is vary vague on when will be available. I wouldn’t put my hopes up. Kyle from out of specs said last Friday podcast, he is coming out with a video soon and he thinks the results wont be what people expect on towing. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    As the profile of the vehicle gets bigger, the more noticeable noise will happen. Tire profiles also matter.

    Scout has a better chance of making it work correctly. The problem with legacy auto makers is that they are struggling financially. That’s the main reason the lightning got cancelled. They are good at making ICE vehicle. But struggling on EV.
