I have a Gen 1 2022 R1T and have the same issue. Have always had it, but the work-around was always logging out and back in (a total PIA). Now that doesn't even work. This is such a significant issue for me, I'm considering selling the truck. Love the truck, but just too many issues and this...
Glad to see it's not just me. Hopefully Rivian is aware and working on a fix. To not have the vehicle automatically lock when a person is expecting it is dangerous. I have a mobile service appoint for next Friday to look into this closer, but I don't know how much good that will do since it's...
Wondering if anyone else has experienced inconsistent auto-locking of their Rivian? I've had my R1T for two years and the phone has worked pretty flawlessly to lock and unlock the truck. Of course sometimes I have to move the phone close to the door to unlock it, but auto locking when I walked...
Yeah, that sounds very similar to what mine sounded like. My noise was coming from the driver's side and sounded like it was originating from the strut tower. The service center replaced the driver's side damper and now it's so quiet that I can hardly believe it's the same truck.
The service centers sometimes get a bad rap, so I have to give credit where it's due. After being at the San Jose service center the last two weeks, I picked up my R1T today. I was managing my own expectations and not expecting much, but the service center fixed every issue I had on the ticket...
Questions for those with the tailgate pad. 1) Can you lower and close the tailgate with the pad on or does it need to be removed to do this? 2) Does the pad work with the powered tonneau cover? 3) Would the tailgate pad be sufficient for hauling heavier small tire ebikes like a Rad Runner?
I noticed those are 60s versus the 65s that are OEM. Do they come in 65s? Did that throw off your speedometer and range estimates? I thought I read somewhere that there was a three precent difference between the 60 and 65, but I could be mistake.
Thanks for this awesome write up. Much appreciated. Two clarifying questions:
1) You mentioned in your post that you needed to use minimal adhesive. Does that mean we need to also purchase and use adhesive to do this job? If so, what adhesive do you recommend?
2) Probably a dumb question...
I am so excited about this. Will make charging and waiting at stores for my wife infinitely more pleasant. It's the update I've been waiting two years for. My hope is YouTubeTV also becomes native at some point in the near future. For now, I'll be more than happy to just have YouTube.
Reading this thread makes me so happy I bought and already have in my possession an A2Z adapter. No anxiety and gnashing of teeth waiting and hoping in vain for Rivian to send my adapter s00n...
What size are the LTX Platinums? Are they an exact comparable, size-wise, to the OEM 20" AT Pirellis? What I'm really getting at is if they are 65 sidewalls so the range estimates stay (relatively) accurate?
How is this still happening with the 12V batteries? I thought the software update had the computer monitoring the voltage in the 12V to prevent this kind of thing from happening. With massive batteries in our trucks, it seems ridiculous that they would be crippled by 12V batteries dying.
