Had the exact same problem in my wife’s 2023 R1S.
It has been at the service center for 3 weeks. I got the impression it was just sitting there until very recently.
Got a call today saying its ready. It required
some sort of reset involving the 12V battery. No parts replaced as far as I know...
My wife’s early VIN R1S has 21k miles and never been to a SC.
My early VIN R1T has 30k and has been in 3 times.
I have never loved a vehicle more. Such a joy to drive.
Dont forget Connect+ will soon provide a steady revenue stream, the RAN has not been monetized long, and will soon be opening...
General Grabber 22”s
My stock Pirelli Zeros lasted about 12k..
The Generals do way better in the snow. I
had to let the slush freeze overnight before I lost enough traction to pull this off smoothly.
Great thread, thanks!
Do you any of you tech wizards know to create or shortcut/automations which can turn on the climate, steering wheel warmer and seat heater?
I wasn’t really sure where to put this video, but figured this is thread is better than any. Love seeing this many Rivians!
This was taken at the gaithersberg service center last week. They had my truck for about two weeks and really did a great job!
MD rivian service center
Fair enough. Comparing new Generals to bald Pireli’s is certainly not objective.
When I say superior, that is an overall opinion including value, ride quality, and warranty. They are better on cool, wet surfaces. If you prioritize performance and drive in warm dry conditions the Scorpions are...
no problem!
I have at least 4000 miles on them. So far, they have been great, far superior to the OEM Perelli Zeros. They are so much “grippier”. Especially in cooler/wet weather, or on gravel.
I have seen no appreciable change in range.
“Launching” the truck may be marginally less...
Had these installed yesterday!

Probably already answered (I did read thru most of the thread).
My wife reserved an R1S about 17 months ago. We did the PBA thing in early August. Picked one off the shop. Its now on a train somewhere, ETA 2 weeks. The 8 steps are done and paid the balance (pending trade in). I insured it just...
I took it out almost immediately . The floor is not flat, little things still crashed around, and bigger objects like a breaker bar or torque wrench didnt fit right. This mod gave me. a flat surface, flexibility to secure any size object, and got back the space that divider thing used up.
Great products I have never seen before! Thank you all for the recommendations!
I dont have a spare and tired of everything crashing all around in here. Cut this plywood to size, paint and secure with bolt where the tire was. Nylon straps around the edges to secure cargo. I keep everything...
