    From a physics perspective, yes it makes a difference. But your results may vary as it is dependent on a lot of factors. However I probably wouldn't worry even on a longer trip. Maybe you gain another few miles? Hardly impactful. But efficiency is cumulative. A little here, a little there...

    Updated last night when I got the notification at ~8:00pm. As others have posted here, I'm pretty surprised I got the notification/update on the first day. I'm usually a week or more out based on what I usually see here. Didn't really poke around yet since I'm not in the back seat.

    My son noticed the caliper colors were different than mine. I was pretty shocked, but also proud since I'm a car guy. Then I explained to him it was a slightly different model. My wife cares less about this stuff so I told her once. But now she notices it and will call it out if we see one.

    Is it feasible for you to just lift him/her in and out? I do that for my 70lb Bernedoodle into the back of my R1S. She can jump up and down but I know with large dogs you want to be careful with their legs/joints so I just lift her up and down.

    Pull on the door handle twice. It is required as a safety measure you be able to get out of the car in almost any situation so they wouldn't prevent you from doing so.
