The only thing I expected in this update that isn't in the list was the Dash Cam functionality that was stated to be "this fall". Oh well, Snow Mode is far more appreciated currently then Dash Cam for me.
Did they ship all of yours? I'm supposed to be receiving them today but according to their order tracker I'm only getting the back seat mat and the others haven't shipped yet.
I've been watching and listening as much as I can but there's nothing that I've heard of from RAN as of yet.
As far as EA goes, the furthest North they've shown as their current phase is Duluth.
Husky liners have theirs up on the site now. I have my order in but I’ve never had any from them in the past so hoping they’re good enough for Minnesota snow and ice.
I'm hoping they'll come rescue Minnesota, since it seems no one is moving anything up here. The brand new EA station that went in on i90 launched with only 1 of the 4 stalls being functional.
This video has some timing, my Tonneau just decided to BAM stop working this morning. I've been clenching my teeth each time I've used it and then my wife needed to start loading stuff for the dump and it got almost all the way there. Oof what a design.
I struggled as well, this is definitely not intuitive and not senior citizen. The icon for their user is what I clicked at the top of the page and that took me to this little feed of the question and interior of the R1S.
This is probably the easiest solution if it is truly just the wood finish being screwy. I'm mostly in the OC camp for the lighter color seats, so if they offered a dash and trim that was black I would be completely fine with that.
Granted, I'm fine with waiting as my delivery window was...
I do have to wonder about the status of RAN. The only known RAN install is at the corporate office in California that I know of, and I don't believe that's available for anyone other than employees. It also wasn't mentioned on the earnings calls. I get that everything from a parts perspective...
I have that setup with my Polestar, and it hasn't ever tripped the GFCI breaker. I think it's just a possibility so it tends to be called out in manuals as a potential "not our problem" item.
The Polestar browser has been pretty great for when I need to sit at a DCFC with my kids. Just pull up Disney+ or Plex and it's somehow more magical to them on that screen than the 65" we have at home.
@AdamsFan1983 Haha, this was the perfect bait for me in my Monday morning wake up. I literally saw the thread title and said "oh my lord, seriously people".
I do wonder on the over/under unique threads created this week while people just come and yell into the void though.
I keep thinking about driving over there but I never go that way anymore. I’ll have to pair it with a trip to microcenter.
But I do know that DCFC is very expensive to install as opposed to L2. There was a guy on Reddit a while back posting the estimates he was getting for single 50kw installs...
I’m honestly not sure in the general sense. EA just didn’t see value here because of our poor adoption numbers until recently when they’ve been closing the corridors.
From my various looking the VW settlement grants are mostly being used to create these tiny 50kw stops and a bunch of L2 at...
I feel like that’s gonna be a while. EA is only planning along the interstates. And ZEF is not going to build anything more than single station 50kw from my last conversations with them (granted that was a year or so ago at this point).
So road tripping here is really going to be planning to...
Yeah there’s no real DCFC here.
There’s two more EA stations going in on i90 currently and planned somewhere in the metro and along 94 and 35 by … some nebulous future date.
Definitely use the ratings on the charging locations. The fast chargers at goodwill at super hit and miss with it they’re functioning at all. They’re also super expensive I’ve found.
