  1. Rivian Care coverage expands to 31 states

Been waiting for this... but still no PA, hopefully S00n
  2. Front Sensors Off with 2026.15.01 update

So far 3 drives without it coming back, what a weird fluke, and for a bug fix release to introduce more bugs...
  3. Front Sensors Off with 2026.15.01 update

I had the same experience. Installed the update last night, this morning it was going nuts, reset it thought it was good, but came back during my drive. A sleep also seems to have fixed it, hopefully for good.
  4. $3500 Windshield? In Canada

I paid $2700 USD to replace mine in early 2024 at a Rivian Certified shop, as there were no SCs nearby. Back then it would've been $1800 at a Rivian SC, but it was a 2 hour drive. A lot of it is the recalibration of the cameras and sensors in the windshield. I'm not saying it's inexpensive, but...
  5. 12 Volt Demons Caught Up With The Count

3.5 years in on original 12vs too, still haven't gotten the warning yet (knock on wood). Debating at what point I just preemptively make the appt... I'm lucky that I now have a SC 5 minutes from my office vs 2 hours in either direction when I originally bought it.
  6. R1S 22" Tire Replacement Time - Decision Paralysis - Advice/Experience

I second the Nokians, been very happy with them, caught a sale and got the form like $980 installed.
  7. Nokian One HT 22" Tires installed review (aka, wow are the OEM Pirelli Scorpions terrible)

I didn't get them installed at Discount Tire, so I didn't get their warranty on them, I have it on my 20"s though. Tbh these are cheap enough I don't think it's worth it for the off chance you'll need a new one. I used the stock TPMS from my Pirelli's and had no issue.
  8. Nokian One HT 22" Tires installed review (aka, wow are the OEM Pirelli Scorpions terrible)

Right?! I'm excited to drive it again! The Pirelli's were nothing but problems for me. I'm very happy for under $1k for these.
  9. Nokian One HT 22" Tires installed review (aka, wow are the OEM Pirelli Scorpions terrible)

Yea I've done my commute all week on them, and I really am surprised at how nice they are compared to the Pirelli's, especially for the price. Really making me realize how crappy those Pirelli's are.
  10. Nokian One HT 22" Tires installed review (aka, wow are the OEM Pirelli Scorpions terrible)

I finally installed my 22" set with the Nokian Ones yesterday, first day driving on them today. It was mid 50s and rain for my commute in and I was happily surprised. Granted I only have 50 miles on them so far, but they handled great in the rain. Handling on the dry drive home was also...
  11. Anyone considering trading their R1T for an LE R2?

I'm throwing the idea around. Love my T but don't really use the bed that much and I'm worried about the long term reliability of the R1s. R2 is simpler with less to go wrong wrong. I still have well over a year before the warranty is out so I'm in no rush, I'm gonna see if I have any more...
  12. Nokian One HT 22" Tires installed review (aka, wow are the OEM Pirelli Scorpions terrible)

Got a set installed on my 22"s last week, just haven't swapped over from my 20s yet, but glad to hear you like them. I am looking forward to getting back into 22"s from the 20" Toyos I've been running the last year, and the Pirelli's I had sucked from new.
  13. 2026 R2 pricing, range & specs! $57,990 Performance Launch Edition / $53,990 Premium / $48,490 Standard / $45,000 Standard (Smaller Battery)

So torn on whether I trade in the R1T for the R2. It looks like a solid vehicle.
  14. Someone, talk me out of dumping my R1T

Yea I also have a Dec 2022 R1T, I love it, but I doubt I'm keeping it after the warranty expires. I am still on the original 12vs, but only have 29k miles. I love the brand and want the R2 to launch the company, but I feel like the R1s are becoming the Land Rovers of the EV world.
  15. Rivian partners with ALLDATA to expand repair service

This does sound good, I hope it's not too expensive. I'd love to see a ton of independent mechanics around me start to dive into EVs.
  16. New $59k Cybertruck version announced

Yea I really like the Sierra/Silverado EV with the mid gate, but they're huge and expensive, for me. Maybe in the used market. I'm mostly curious about the Scout.
  17. New $59k Cybertruck version announced

I don't care what the price is, I would never drive one. It looks like a shiny dumpster on wheels, which is a shame because some of the tech is actually cool.
  18. 2022 R1T Vin vs Price / Reliability

Mine is 157XX VIN, had a rough run for a few months last year, hvac drip onto the wiring left me stranded out of state, and entire front end was replaced, 3 service visits in 3 months. Prior to that only 1 visit for a camera dying. Seems to be alright since, bit I'm wary of owning it outside of...
  19. Had to replace 12v battery on Gen 1

Same, 2022 15xxx VIN, 38 months in, but only 29k miles. Gear guard off at home, and I'm charging most of the time at work, so I guess I've babied the batteries. I do have a bluetooth monitor on them and generally get 10-12 hours between charge cycles.
