Came here looking to see if anyone else was experiencing this. Pretty annoying. Gen1 map keeps switching to dark mode (And no satellite view, toggle does nothing) and then it refuses to do anything else without a soft reboot. That only fixes it temporarily. Sigh.
Thanks for the quick reply. I figured that was the case, but still a bummer. Can think of a lot of YouTube folks I follow where the videos would be totally fine as audio-only. To me it seems as simple as just not displaying the video while the audio keeps going, but things are never that simple...
My update is installing now, but I assume this doesn't work as audio-only while in motion? Understand that video-in-motion will never be allowed (well, maybe on the back screen please) but can't see a reason why you shouldn't be able to listen to things while driving.
These are the AWR1's (https://atomic-wheels.com/products/awr1-for-rivian-r1t-r1s-awr1-208540bgr1) with the new Goodyear Territory ATs (https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Goodyear&tireModel=Wrangler+Territory+AT&partnum=76HR0WTATXL). Pleased with both so far.
Just got these from Tire Rack and had Discount Tire put them on. Have a replacement ordered on one of them because it wouldn't balance to their specs (I don't know anything about tires, but the "Road Force" was 70 and they want it more like 20. Tire Rack is shipping a new tire under warranty as...
I'm sure this won't help you, but I tested my A2Z adapter at a Supercharger without any problems here in Phoenix while really making sure everything was seated properly. Then at one in California (https://maps.app.goo.gl/npnK9oUqgkBuDjaR8) I could not for the life of me get it started. I thought...
I wish they'd just focus on it being a "Notifications" app instead. My watch does this perfectly -- let me choose the apps I want to notifications to be passed through from. Pop out a flyover when they come up and let me hit a steering wheel button to have them read aloud or to scroll through a...
Got mine on sale earlier this year, really like it. Sleeps two adults and a 5-year-old comfortably. I know a lot of people suggest you should never buy anything other than a hard shell RTT, but *shrug*. I like this thing.
Live in Phoenix, no problems. Running the AC takes a bit more power in the summer than running nothing in the winter. But in the winter we get cold (40s this morning) and that makes bringing the kid to school a little more inefficient, so it mostly balances.
My ex has one, loves it. She plugs in a 120v outlet in her condo parking lot at night and has a fully charged battery with enough miles to get around the next day. Short commute, so that's not a concern. Fills up the gas tank less than once a month.
PHEVs are great for a lot of people once you...
Man, I use it all the time. I use the Camp Speaker now and then (That's the one I forget is there) but man it came in handy when the last software update rolled out.
It's kind of a mess, but yeah. The other issue I've been having is that if I try to shuffle a playlist, I always get some weird subset of songs over and over, there are songs in a playlist that I've never heard. And for a while I got the first song in the list every time I asked it to shuffle...
I briefly looked up how to reach monument valley to see the Solar Eclipse this weekend from Phoenix. It seems like the only way to get there and back is to use a relatively slow charger north of the area, which would not be a great time if there are any crowds of like-minded ev travellers...
Would kill for it to just mirror all of my Android notifications with the click wheels able to select instant responses. Just copy what Garmin watches do but stick it on the driver's screen. I'm sure they won't for safety, but not sure how it's any different than the music details popping up...
