That's the way I did it after hurricane Helene came through. Just make sure you turn-off Gary (camera recording) to avoid battery drainage. It may be turned off since you're still parked at home. Also, I would recommend keeping track of your remaining charge just in case the power company...

As someone that used my Rivian to power the refrigerator during the power outage from Helene, I've eagerly waiting this too. I believe it was mentioned in a recent investor day conference in June, but I don't think there has been any other details.

Did we ever reach consensus on whether the Meridian sound system is really better than the Rivian? I have Meridian in my R1T LE, and it sounds good...but I've heard better. Actually, maybe I better go back and confirm what I have after reading this thread. :)
