    How do I know what the outlet is rated? Why electricians make a 50 Amp breaker and only install a 30 Amp outlet?

    To be fair my original post wasnā€™t 100% clear. Looks like Iā€™ll be bringing in an electrician to hardwire a charger and review the whole installation.

    Other people can chime in, but I donā€™t believe this is correct. My breaker is 50 Amps and the charger is 30Amps. I believe the 80% rule is for picking the charger. For example the next charger I chose should be no more than 40 Amps. Thatā€™s my understanding.

    Yes. Itā€™s 30 Amp and Iā€™m usually charging at 7.1 kw/h so that would mean itā€™s drawing 30A( 240x30).

    Did you enter your current address into the favorites when you press the search button on the nav screen? I also think you can edit your home address from there.

    Did you turn proximity unlocking to off at home? That should do the trick.

    I have a quick question? When you created a new account in the Rivian app for Electrafi to use, do you just use an arbitrary email or does it actually have to be a valid email? You have to invite a new driver and use a valid email and use that email when signing up? Thanks
