I have a reservation for one pre price hike with schedule delivery Jan-June 2024. I would be willing to sell it for a premium but less than the current MSRP.
I had two orders cancelled, but only requested one order get restored. I just checked and my account has 3 R1S orders. Two at the original pricing and one with the new pricing. If this sticks, I might as well take the 2 orders at the reduced pricing.
I am still waiting on my order reinstatement. I have confirmed multiple times with customer service. Like people have mentioned, they must be doing every order manually.
I reached out on chat and they mentioned “experiencing funky issues with reinstatement this morning”. Although, I was all set and I would get my order reinstated. No timeline of when it will get fixed.
Thank you to Rivian raising the prices when they did as I ordered a Model Y the next day before any of the price increases for Tesla in 2022. Not only am I getting my LR Model Y for 58990, but will be getting my reinstated Rivian R1S Quad Motor Large Pack for 74,000.

I finally got the email, but I was a cancellation customer and have requested reinstatement. It looks like I have nothing preordered when I login to my account and they do say a few weeks, so I am not concerned.
I have noticed dust/dirt on some edges of my S3. Also, a piece near the trunk license plate wasn’t secured down well so it’s lifting with dirt. I used to be a huge advocate of PPF the whole car, but I am now against the whole car. Will only do full front going forward.

I spoke with CS on chat this morning to get an update on the order reinstatements. They told me wait a few weeks until you see your build back on your account with the original pricing. Looks like cancellations will be waiting a bit.
I have no problem paying the deposit but that’s what was mentioned. I even clarified as it seemed odd. Probably will have to pay it again once they figure out how to reinstate orders.
