Rivian in Texas

Went by the Houston location today and they have signage up above the front door.
Hopefully this means that they are getting closer to opening.

A lot closer than Dallas, that’s for sure lol. Rivian, if you’re listening, I will pick mine up in Houston or Austin if it helps.

I went by the Houston location yesterday to see it. Was secretly hoping to see a Rivian there, even though I knew that was not going to be the case haha.

Did my weekly drive by of the Houston location. One Clipper Creek charger installed and they were installing more. Also the Comcast person was there. Looks like it is coming along. I'm hopeful for an April opening.

Drove by Houston Service Center this afternoon. Gate was open so of course I had to drive in and check it out. The door was wide open with no cars in the parking lot so I took a stroll around. I was super excited driving home after seeing the progress only to find a price increase.

My son saw a Rivian Blue in New Braunfels today as well. No picture though.

Drove by Houston service center and noticed some new chargers and some updates to the parking lot.

Did my weekly drive by of the Houston location. Things are moving along. 3 chargers installed out front, 3 flat bed tow trucks, people installing outside lighting and mowing the grass.

It looks like we are close to getting it open. Unless the inside needs lots of work I would think it should be running in April. Hopefully deliveries pick up in the Houston area around then.
