  1. Update 2024.23 Details (For Gen 2 Rivian)

I never said anything about FSD. What I said was basic features like following lane markings and change lanes when you turn on the indicator. Is that too much to expect?
  2. Update 2024.23 Details (For Gen 2 Rivian)

Hey Please calm down. All I’m saying is that it came with promises that they are not keeping. I am fine with the car the way it is. Geez!!!1
  3. Gen 1 major ride quality & handling improvement after 2024.19.04 software update - how's your experience?

I love the suspension update.. the AWD ride is much better on the 22s. Also, the air suspension motor is much quieter in R1S after the update and less clikety clacks.. :D I keep it at standard height and in the past, I used to hear a drone until the air filled up but not anymore.
  4. Update 2024.23 Details (For Gen 2 Rivian)

It is not about being sore.. we all plopped quite a bit of money and it is understandable that people are upset that these new features that were promised are not being delivered. Lane change or staying in lane seems to be basic features that are incorporated in other cars and works everywhere...

  6. R1S automatically parked during red light waits - how to disable?

Seems like a fault. Please open a service ticket and have it checked out. It is only supposed to go on ā€˜Hold’ and not ā€˜Park’.
  7. Show us your Rivian vanity plates!

Well here is our OliEV from Virginia
  8. At some point, auto high-beams option went away

I just checked and it is under ā€œExterior Lightsā€ as @electruck mentioned in his reply and also within the ā€œDriver+ā€ options. I’m on 2023.46
  9. At some point, auto high-beams option went away

The reason being that Driver+ needs to see better at night. It is similar to the Full Self Driving Beta in a Tesla where it is a requirement to turn on Auto Hi Beam in order for it to work well.
  10. Tesla charger adapter

All you need is the adapter that conver to NACs to J1772 as mentioned by @branky3 and others on this thread. Been using it for more than a year now with zero issues.
  11. Software Update 2023.42.0 is out (āš ļø UPDATE: OTA fix rolling out today 11/15/23)

Model 3 is different from S and X. Rivian opens like how it works with S and X. I disabled the proximity opening in my garage and did not experience battery drain issues.
  12. Software Update 2023.42.0 is out (āš ļø UPDATE: OTA fix rolling out today 11/15/23)

For me , It will jumped to 7% after 5 minutes and stayed there for a while. I guess they did not have time to test the progress bar .. ??? Just wait for a while and good luck!!
  13. Software Update 2023.42.0 is out (āš ļø UPDATE: OTA fix rolling out today 11/15/23)

Never mind.. the progress bar is moving. 7% now No luck for me. I got the update notification when I tried to push from the phone app got a message that the update could not be installed and to call Rivian service. The status is stuck in ā€˜preparing update’ at 0%. Any others facing the same issue?
  14. Software Update 2023.42.0 is out (āš ļø UPDATE: OTA fix rolling out today 11/15/23)

Think about the energy you will be saving by not running the infotainment system. I’m being sarcastic here.. lol
  15. Software Update 2023.42.0 is out (āš ļø UPDATE: OTA fix rolling out today 11/15/23)

You should have changed the setting when it was working on a previous software version. I don’t think it is possible to change it now. Best option is to forget Bluetooth for all Rivian services to put it into deep sleep Mode. It is interesting to see that it shows the speed limit setting at...
  16. Software Update 2023.42.0 is out (āš ļø UPDATE: OTA fix rolling out today 11/15/23)

They asked if I have other mode of transportation. I’m sure they would have offered Uber credits to go around.
