That sounds like a great deal. We have a Dual Max gen2 R1S and it has been great. Mobile service has taken care of a few recalls in our garage and Colorado Springs service center was great the one time I had to take it in for a camera that stopped working.

I was told today by an employee at the CO Springs service center, that an Albuquerque service center is in the works. He did not have a date or specific location but supposedly it is "approved" and they are moving forward with it. Looking forward to the official announcement!

Received the check from IRS today for $8643.95 ($7500+interest). I had pretty much given up hope that it would ever be approved, but the appeal letter + documents worked!

Used R1S prices will likely come down significantly when the first batch of leases term out and hit the used market. Not sure when that will be exactly though, maybe sometime in 2027?

This probably has a lot more to do with the Tarriffs than exchange rates, but Rivian doesn't want to say anything that would make them a target of the Trump/Musk administration, so they are blaming it on exchange rates instead.

Update: Mobile Service guy came to fix it yesterday. He opened up the door panel, found a loose connector, and fixed it in about 30 minutes start to finish. Window is working normally again! This was my first experience with Rivian mobile service and it was awesome.
