    Glad to hear you've had a good experience with your Jeeps. I considered a GC 4XE trailhawk, but they were about $70K at the time, and I just couldn't justify that when the 4Runner was about $50K fully loaded and an R1S would have been about $75K.

    With the price/specs just leaked on the R2, it looks to me like a direct competitor with the 4Runner, although it is a bit smaller in length and height and will of course have way better performance.     We have a pre-price hike R1S reserved but we are planning to wait for some kind of announcement about a service center in NM before seriously considering taking delivery. Maybe just wait a bit and see what happens with the refresh this year and NACS port being added, etc.

    Agree with most of what you said, except this part. The BZ4X is a non-competitive vehicle purely because it sucks, not because of the tax incentives in the US.     Bumping this to see if we can get to 200+ responses. So far with 160 responses, about 46% report 0 or 1 required service center visit, and 37% report 3 or more. The remaining 17% report 2 visits needed.

    As I don't yet have a Rivian and haven't paid that much attention, I don't know which recalls etc could have been done by mobile service. So I'm not going to get super granular here, and just hope that people answer truthfully and follow the instructions to the best of their knowledge/ability...

    Hard to know for sure, but there is likely a selection bias where people with more issues are more likely to respond to the poll. On the other hand the forum members may be weighted towards Rivian fans and shareholders who are more likely to cut the company some slack.
